Knives in the dishwasher? A no BS discussion.
Hi friends. One of the things I have found most annoying as I have gone deeper down the rabbit hole of knives is the over abundance of conflicting info. It seems as though almost every aspect of knife design, construction and use is debated hotly. For the home chef that doesn't have time to sort through all this conflicting info, this can make it really hard to know how you should care for your knives.
That's why I am launching my Knife 101 series of articles. I mean to cut through the swaths of conflicting info for you. I won't be able to give a simple answer for every issue, but I want to simplify the info for you so that you can make the best decision for you.
Today I start with probably the most needlessly controversial topic, do sharp knives belong in the dishwasher? Spoiler alert, the answer is no.
