This little beauty is my mom's everyday go to. Made from High - Carbon Steel with zebrawood handle scales, the shape and the stripes reminded me of a shark. So I used some aluminum bar for pins to add some 'gills'. The pattern on the blade was made using an acid etching process. Although because the knife is not made of stainless steel it has taken on a patina which obscures the pattern. None the less I enjoy it's hard earned finish. This knife has held a very keen edge very well without any significant chipping.
